Sarah Berki's stunning cover of the John Denver classic Take me home, country roads has gone viral – and even caught the attention of the popular entertainment site Classic radio waves on Facebook.

With her interpretation of Take me home, country roadsBerki has established herself internationally and expanded her fan base to include people of all ages and genre preferences.

Classic Airwaves praised Berki's performance, calling it a “defining moment” that ultimately “seamlessly blended the worlds of sport and music into an unforgettable experience.”

Tell Rural town Speaking about the impact of her cover of John Denver on her career, Berki said: “I know this sounds really trite, but I never thought that the most famous country song could elicit such a response from so many people.

“I don't know, it's also a completely different way of hearing it, my version of how I sing it; I like to think it's my interpretation of a classic.”
