Will the attacker of Jagan's Stone be forced to confess to the crime?

After the Kodi Kathi attack before the 2019 election, AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy was again involved in a similar incident when he was pelted with a stone during the 2019 election campaign. This incident took place when Jagan was coming to Vijayawada as part of the Bus Yatra and was attacked by a miscreant with a stone, as a result of which his eyebrow was injured.

One Satish Kumar was named as the culprit in the case and sent to Nellore jail. The 8th Additional Court of Vijayawada recently granted him bail and he was released on Sunday.

According to reports, Satish spoke to a media outlet after his release and allegedly made some shocking comments.

According to media reports, Satish admitted that he was offered Rs 200,000 if he accepted the charges against him. He admitted that a gun was put to his head to put pressure on him.

As per the newspaper clipping, Satish claimed that he was not even present at the spot at the time of the stone attack on Jagan. The culprit's lawyer Saleem said that the YCP tried to make it another Kodi Kathi saga and failed.

Previously, Kodi Kathi Sreenu was sentenced to 5 years in prison for a crime that was ultimately not proven. Now another young man, Satish, was executed and also left to rot in prison without any concrete facts being established in the case. Both young men are rotting in prison for a crime that was not proven against them, commented a senior political journalist.
