CHAMPAIGN – Champaign County Crime Stoppers needs help identifying three men suspected of committing an armed robbery in Rantoul earlier this month.

This week, Champaign County Crime Stoppers is asking for the public's help in relation to an armed robbery.

On May 3, at approximately 11:54 p.m., police officers were called to a business in the 500 block of South Maplewood Drive in Rantoul for a report of an armed robbery. Upon arrival, officers found three suspects had entered the business, displayed firearms and demanded money. The suspects were observed leaving the area on foot.

Police are asking the public for help in identifying the suspects caught on video. The suspects were described as three men of unknown race, all wearing blue nitrile gloves.

Suspect one was wearing a dark face covering, a dark Nike hoodie, dark pants, and a backpack. Suspect two was wearing a dark face covering, dark sunglasses, a dark hoodie, and dark pants. Suspect three was wearing a gray beanie, a dark hoodie, dark pants, and a backpack across his chest.
