Meridiani House in Milan: a showroom that makes you feel at home

Meridiani House, located at Corso Venezia 29 in Milan, is not a conventional furniture showroom, but a creative and conceptual project – a multi-space apartment entirely furnished with the Italian brand’s collections, conceived and curated by designer and art director Andrea Parisio.

The project showcases Meridiani's discreet elegance, creating a dialogue with professionals and design lovers in the intimate context of a real home. Adaptable and aesthetically fluid, the Meridiani House concept offers a broader, more imaginative framework than a regular corporate space. The format is intended to be replicable in partnership with international clients and retailers in different cities around the world, but still adaptable to local styles.

Essentially, Meridiani House is a real, tangible version of the brand’s concept book. Stories from Case, The project includes five apartments in five different locations, furnished with Meridiani products. Each apartment has its own creative touch that reflects the personality of the residents and underlines the versatility of the company's designs.

Inspired by this inspiration, the rooms of the Meridiani House on Corso Venezia are the result of a redesign by Parisio: intense colour notes act as a counterpoint to delicate background tones, classic pieces stand alongside more contemporary designs and soft shapes contrast with more geometric profiles.

Careful design and layout of the living areas make the most of natural light and increase the sense of space. The living rooms are furnished with Meridiani's Oscar sofa collection in white and René in pink, as well as Nora armchairs, Hector sofa and Plinto table in beige and cream tones, while the new Wallis storage unit in high-gloss cherry lacquer and with concave sides conveys a sense of formal order and structural cleanliness. In the sleeping area, the new Jeanette armchair finds its place alongside a Wallis unit in sage green, while the maxi headboard of the Tuyo bed surrounds three sides of the room.

In the dining room, the “Hubert” table and the “Judd” coffee table add a green accent to the room, which opens onto the outdoor area where the new “Vincent Open Air” modular sofa and the “Fabien Open Air” coffee table with a glazed lava stone top are located.

The innovative Milan showroom is just the starting point of a new international adventure for the brand. Next, Meridiani House Copenhagen will make its official debut during the city's annual 3 Days of Design festival from June 12-14, 2024, offering an equally comprehensive introduction to the Meridiani aesthetic.
