Burton “Gage” Verner of Brentwood arrested for resisting arrest and using a fake ID – Scoop: Nashville

Burton “Gage” Verner, 18, of Brentwood was taken into custody on June 1 after causing a commotion that drew the attention of park police. Verner attempted to elude officers as they approached him, but eventually gave them a fake Virginia ID and stated he was 21. Officers began checking the ID, and Gage attempted to resist arrest and flee the scene. He was eventually taken to the ground and arrested by officers. Burton “Gage” Verner was charged with public intoxication, resisting arrest, and using false IDs on June 2.

Burton “Gage” Verner, of Ascot Close in Brentwood, Tennessee, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on June 1. He was charged with false identity, public intoxication and resisting arrest. A judicial commissioner set his bail at $2,100 and the Davidson County Sheriff's Office released him from the jail prior to trial.
