Horror highlights: “The Vourdalak”, “Killer Shorts”, “Goldilocks”

THE VOURDALAK: “When the Marquis d'Urfé, a noble emissary of the French king, is attacked and abandoned in the remote countryside, he finds refuge in an eerie, isolated mansion. The resident family, who reluctantly take him in, exhibit strange behavior as they await the imminent return of their father Gorcha. But what begins as simply odd quickly turns into a full-blown nightmare when Gorcha returns, seemingly no longer himself…

Based on a novella written more than half a century before Bram Stoker's Dracula, THE VOURDALAK is an atmospheric, unexpected sensory experience that will leave you reeling and dizzy in equal measure.”
