Arrests – May 29, 2024

Judith M. Poehlein, 82, was arrested by Springfield police at 12:03 a.m. in the 00 block of Lilac Lane on a charge of domestic violence.

Terrol B. Smith, 18, was arrested by Springfield police at 12:22 a.m. in the 1100 block of Osburn Avenue on charges of aggravated assault: police officer/security personnel/fire-no weapon, assault and resisting arrest.

Jermaine D. Campbell, 37, was arrested by Springfield police at 12:29 a.m. in the 1700 block of North Grand Avenue on a charge of domestic violence.

Adam C. Tucker, 39, was arrested at 2:33 a.m. on Hamilton Avenue/Indiana Avenue for possession of methamphetamine.

Leroy D. Casson, 38, was arrested at 5:25 a.m. on N. 8th Street/Black Avenue for contempt of court.

Renee N. Henderson, 39, was arrested at 6:09 a.m. in N. 8th Street/Black Avenue on a federal warrant for arrest and charges of possession of methamphetamine, obstruction of justice: concealing one's identity.

Michelle R. Mills, 56, was arrested at 9:51 a.m. by the Sangamon County Sheriff's Office at the County Building for resisting or obstructing the performance of a peace officer.

Kaylee A. Reese, 32, was arrested at 9:58 a.m. by the Sangamon County Sheriff's Office in the County Building on a charge of theft of lost or misplaced property: the charge is under $500.

Darnell L. Thomas, 44, was arrested at 10:04 a.m. at the County Building for contempt of court and sex offender registration violation.

John L. Simelton, 41, was arrested at 10:14 a.m. in the 2200 block of Lake Victoria Drive by Springfield police on an out-of-state warrant.

Demarko Cortez Ovington, 33, was arrested at 10:25 a.m. by the Illinois Secretary of State for possession of a stolen vehicle.

Darryl Eugene Fox, 70, was arrested at 10:44 a.m. by the Sangamon County Sheriff's Office on charges of disarming a law enforcement officer and theft of a weapon.

Devon Ramon Woods, 23, was arrested at 10:55 a.m. by the Sangamon County Sheriff's Office on charges of resisting arrest, robbery and theft of property over $500/under $10,000.

James D. Smith, 30, was arrested at 11:05 a.m. by the Sangamon County Sheriff's Office on charges of aggravated assault on a police officer/security guard/firing without use of a firearm.

Dennis Donald, Sr., 58, was arrested at 12:57 p.m. by Southern View police in the 2900 block of S. 6.thOn the street for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Destiny Michelle Thomas, 21, was arrested by Springfield police at 1:04 p.m. in the 2700 block of N. Dirksen Parkway on a charge of shoplifting under $300.

Monterious L. Bradford, 30, was arrested by Springfield police at 1:22 p.m. in the 2700 block of N. Dirksen Parkway on a charge of shoplifting over $300.

Tamika Lynn Shelton, 40, was arrested by Springfield police at 1:32 p.m. in the 900 block of S. 13th.thStreet for grievous bodily harm: use of a deadly weapon and unlawful use of a weapon.

Aramis K. Jones, 28, was arrested by Springfield police at 2:50 p.m. in the 00 block of Todd Lane on charges of probation violation, manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance.

Renee N. Henderson, 39, was arrested at 3:23 p.m. by the Sangamon County Sheriff's Office on N. 8.thStreet/Black Avenue for criminal damage: charge under $500.

Joshua Lee Lyons, 48, was arrested at 4:11 p.m. by the Sangamon County Sheriff's Office in the 200 block of 7thStreet, Illiopolis, for a child sex offender: charge in a public park.

Mikyle Hassan Burke, 25, was arrested by Springfield police at 4:22 p.m. in the 600 block of Adams Street on a charge of criminal damage under $500.

Jessica M. Foster, 47, was arrested by Springfield police at 5:42 p.m. in the 2700 block of N. Dirksen Parkway on a charge of shoplifting under $300.

Deborah Elizabeth Corso, 64, was arrested by Springfield police at 6:21 p.m. in the 2700 block of N. Dirksen Parkway on a warrant for failure to appear and charges of Shoplifting: Previous Secure Convictions – Over $300 and Shoplifting: Previous Secure Convictions: Under $300.

Julius Mae Thomas, 33, was arrested by Springfield police on Washington Street at 9:03 p.m. on charges of aggravated assault as a police officer/volunteer, domestic violence and resisting justice.

Shawn Carlylee Ushman, 23, was arrested by Springfield police at 10:27 p.m. in the 1500 block of Wesley Street on a charge of domestic violence.

Jeffrey Vernon Washington, 52, was arrested by Springfield police in the 600 block of 9thStreet on charges of “Murder and violence against young people as reporting requirement” and “Sexual offenders: reporting requirement”.

Destiny L. Lewis, 33, was arrested by Springfield police on a federal warrant at 12:13 a.m. in the 1700 block of Jefferson Street.

Mark Anthony Blankenship, 49, was arrested by Chatham police at 1:59 p.m. on a warrant for failure to appear, driving without a license or a suspended license, and possession of a controlled substance.

Cory James Beebe, 36, was arrested by Springfield police at 2:40 a.m. in the 1600 block of College Street on charges of burglary, criminal trespass, possession of burglary tools and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jonathan J. Hess, 40, was arrested by Springfield police at 2:46 a.m. in the 1600 block of College Street on charges of residential burglary, possession of burglary tools and theft from a building over $500/under $10,000.

Ronald Eugene Cobb, 56, was arrested by Springfield police at 2:57 a.m. in the 1600 block of College Street on charges of residential burglary, possession of methamphetamine, possession of burglary tools, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Michael Joseph Anaya, 48, was arrested by Springfield police at 6:47 a.m. in the 3400 block of Gaines Mill Road on a charge of simple assault.

Keidrick Samuel, 30, was arrested at 8:53 a.m. by Illinois State Police on an out-of-state warrant.

Rhonda L. Roberts, 44, was arrested by Springfield police at 9:09 a.m. in the 2200 block of E. Cook Street on charges of assault and criminal damage under $500.

Tanzia J. Meola, 53, was arrested by Springfield police at 10:48 a.m. in the 400 block of N. 4.th Street for trespassing.

Justin William Pate, 32, was arrested by Springfield police at 11:03 a.m. in the 3700 block of Peoria Road for violating a restraining order.

Zachary D. Horton, 40, was arrested by Illinois State Police at 12:41 p.m. on N. Dirksen/Sangamon Avenue for driving without a license or driving on a suspended license.

Dayion Marquion Shaw, 25, was arrested by Springfield police at 1:28 p.m. in the 700 block of Governor Street on a federal warrant and a domestic violence charge.

Trinity Cheyne Ghess, 35, was arrested at 1:56 p.m. at Chester Mental Health, Chester, on charges of trespassing and shoplifting under $300.

Howard I. Walker, 31, was arrested by Springfield police at 2:06 p.m. on Baker Avenue on charges of aggravated public assault, battery, domestic violence and intimidation.

Marion J. Washington, 21, was arrested by Springfield police at 3:50 p.m. in the 1000 block of Rutledge Street on charges of aggravated domestic violence: strangulation, domestic violence and theft of property: over $500/under $10,000.

Latylia L. Washington, 21, was arrested by Springfield police at 4:10 p.m. in the 1000 block of Rutledge Street on a charge of domestic violence.

Michelle Lynn Jacobs, 41, was arrested by Springfield police on Lorraine Avenue at 7:57 p.m. on charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Toby James Butler, 47, was arrested by Springfield police at 10:49 p.m. in the 400 block of 4.thStreet for aggravated assault: charges of strangulation and methamphetamine possession.

Rachel Michelle Wilson, 35, was arrested by Springfield police at 10:50 p.m. in the 3200 block of Redbud Lane on a charge of domestic violence.

Tamar Keith Wallace, 24, was arrested by Springfield police on Wabash Avenue at 11:58 p.m. The charges include aggravated unlawful use of a weapon: weapon without a case, loaded, accessible, obscuring markings on the weapon, manufacture/delivery/sale and possession of high capacity ammunition feeding devices, possession of a weapon: FOID expired/unable to be renewed and unlawful possession of a weapon by a convicted felon.
