Jennifer Garner's cute dog Birdie completes viral challenge: Watch the sweet moment

Jennifer Garner shared a heartwarming video on Instagram of her dog Birdie completing a viral challenge on Thursday.

The 52-year-old actress thrilled her followers with the clip in which her furry friend sums up the social media trend “Hands In”.

In the challenge, which is reminiscent of a team gathering for a joint celebration, pet owners must put their hands together in front of their cats and dogs to see if they will join in.

The 30 Going on 30 star captioned the video, “Trying the hands in challenge with Birdie,” as she and a man off-screen held out their hands. To her delight, Birdie immediately understood and stuck her paw in on the first try with perfect timing.

Jennifer beamed with joy and laughter and praised her golden retriever, saying, “Did you see it, Birdie? Yes, you did. I mean, the first time.”

The actress looked casual yet chic in a grey T-shirt that read “Once Upon a Farm, Save the Children” and light-wash jeans. Her brunette locks were pulled back into a messy bun that framed her face with a few loose strands, and she went makeup-free to flaunt her natural beauty.

Birdie, a certified therapy dog, probably had the edge on this challenge because she is trained to make visits at Children's Hospital of Los Angeles.

“So she's excited. She wants to do her first time at Children's Hospital LA before she turns 9,” Jennifer told We Rate Dogs in an interview, adding, “She's a very good dog, a very good girl.”

In addition to her impressive workout routine, Birdie has a list of ambitious goals. Jennifer jokingly revealed that some of Birdie's dreams include visiting a Parisian bistro, swimming in the Olympics, skydiving, singing with the Metropolitan Opera, quitting nail biting and going on a date with President Joe Biden's dog, Major. “She's totally smitten,” Jennifer confessed.
