Rashid Latif criticises Pakistan over paid fan meet; viral poster claims match was postponed after loss to USA

Former Pakistan cricketer Rashid Latif revealed that Pakistan has postponed a paid fan meet following their humiliating loss to the USA in the 2024 T20 World Cup. The 'Men in Green' have come under intense scrutiny from former cricketers and media following their loss to the USA. Babar Azam's team fell short of expectations and made numerous errors on the field which led to their defeat.

Former Pakistani cricketer Rashid Latif announced with a viral poster that the Pakistan national cricket team have after their defeat against the USA in the eleventh game of the T20 World Cup 2024Latif had previously mentioned that the team organizes “meet and greet meetings” for fans in the US and charges $25 for them.

However, after the humiliating defeat against the USA, the former cricketer claims that the team has allegedly postponed its meeting scheduled for June 7 in New York.

Latif used his platform X to publish digital flyers about the event and raised concerns about hosting such gatherings during the World Cup tournament.
