21-year-old shot dead outside Pomona swap meet – Daily Bulletin

A 21-year-old man was shot and killed in the parking lot of the Indian Hill Mall Indoor Swap Meet in Pomona on Friday, June 7, Pomona police said.

The man was found in the northeast corner of the parking lot, police spokesman Lt. Jaime Martinez said Saturday. No arrests have been announced.

Gunshots were reported in the 1600 block of E. Holt Avenue around 5:25 p.m. Friday. Officers found the man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to a hospital where he died, according to a police news release Saturday.

Investigators are trying to determine a motive. The victim's name was not immediately released.
