Alyssa Thomas gives Caitlin Clark a 'rag doll' in a viral play that ended badly for the 'Indiana Fever' star

The first pick of the 2024 draft only managed to score 10 points in one of her quietest games since the beginning of her professional basketball career. Thomas followed her all night long.

A highlight was when both Clark and the 25-year-old both fought for the basketball at the same time by grabbing it, only for the older woman to make a very clear example of the Fever's coverage by throwing it away from the ball and across the field.

She then turned and threw a shot in the two-point zone while Clark could only stand there and watch with a somewhat pale face before the Fever The game ended with a comfortable 89:72 defeat.

Thomas is known for getting physical with her rivals and seems eager to make a lasting impression on the 2024 class of rookies, as she recently used the same strategy with the Chicago sky'S Angel Reesewhom she strangled, hit and left in tears.

Meanwhile, it was a tough week for Clark as she continues to be criticized by haters and also received a major snub from Team USA for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, France, despite scoring 30 points or more twice this season.

She also holds a number of records set by rookies, such as being the fastest to score over 200 points and the fastest to score over 50 assists. However, this was not enough to impress the head coach, who instead selected a number of more experienced minds.

Who will the Fever play against next?

The Indiana fever will be back in action on Thursday, June 14th, when they will Atlanta Dream to the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

The game is scheduled to begin at 19:00 ET/16:00 PT and will be the 14th game of the Fever's season.
