The viral England fan, who has travelled the world to follow England's games, was once again spotted cheering on Gareth Southgate's team as they kicked off their Euro 2024 campaign against Serbia in Germany on Sunday evening.

Andy Milne rose to prominence by supporting England at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, with some on social media claiming he looked like former England manager Steve McLaren.

The fan became a cult figure among Three Lions supporters after he was photographed in Qatar lifting a replica of the Jules Rimet Trophy during England's 3-0 win over Senegal.

Nicknamed the “World Cup Guy” by fans, he was also photographed accompanying England's Lionesses on their trip to the 2023 Women's World Cup in Australia.

Milne, a retired teacher, was also spotted cheering on Manchester United in the 2022 Carabao Cup final at Wembley.

It seems he didn't want to miss another opportunity to support England at a major tournament, as Milne was spotted in BBC Match of the Day's coverage of England's opening match against Serbia in Gelsenkirchen.

He was seen cheering into the camera before stepping back and soaking up the atmosphere in the Veltins Arena.

Fans were amazed by Milne's dedication as an England fan, with one writing: “This guy follows England everywhere!”

One added with a laughing face emoji: “This man really goes everywhere!”

“He is living the absolute dream. What a guy,” said another, while one wrote: “I absolutely love this man.”

But Milne has actually travelled all over the world watching football; the 2022 tournament was the eighth time he has taken part in a tournament.
