Woman recreates Queen Charlotte's swan wig from “Bridgerton” and impresses internet users

Bridgerton has been making waves around the world. From recreating the iconic dresses from season 3 of Bridgerton to Penelope Featherington-inspired makeup, several artists have been making waves on social media. Recently, a video of an artist recreating Queen Charlotte's extravagant swan wig went viral online. The iconic wig from the show had moving swans in it and was a hit with people when it was shown.

The viral clip begins with an artist named Ryan Terhune making a structure out of wires to pin her hair to. After securing the structure on her head, she styles her hair strands one by one with her fingers. She uses a spray to set her hair. Once everything is ready, she makes swans out of paper and attaches them to a machine to make them move. She places this machine in the middle of her hair and completes the look with a hair accessory. Ryan Terhune shared the video, writing, “The moment I saw Queen Charlotte's swan wig in episode 4, I knew I HAD to try to recreate it. It took a lot of prep and planning and I was incredibly nervous, but I think it turned out pretty well (even though I definitely didn't have enough hair for it).” Ryan Terhune shared this video on her Instagram account @gingersnark.

The video was posted on Instagram two days ago. Since being shared, it has received over 16 million views and the numbers continue to rise. The share has garnered numerous likes and comments from viewers, with people praising her skills and the effort she put into recreating the complex wig. “I am impressed and blown away when I saw this,” one user commented. “Gorgeous!! How difficult it was to get the wire cage out of your hair,” a second wrote. “This is insanely unreal but especially when you do it on your own head, bravo,” a third praised, with heart and fire emoticons. “This is seriously insane,” a fourth expressed. “Your looks are always incredible but this one is truly a work of art,” a fifth said.
