These “Core Memory” popcorn buckets for Inside Out 2 are going viral

Inside Out 2 hit theaters on June 14, 2024, and fans were treated to more than just a brand new film about the adventures of Riley and the gang.

The hype surrounding these themed popcorn buckets started when Fandango announced they had developed a popcorn bucket that mimics the control panel in Riley's head – where a large portion of the film takes place.

This control panel tray even features a cup holder – a clever nod to the film’s trailer.

This healthy popcorn bucket is the perfect addition to a trip to the highly anticipated movie. However, this popcorn bucket is hard to come by for some people. This particular item was exclusive to the world premiere and is no longer available. But that doesn't mean customers of all ages can't enjoy a novelty item with their movie ticket.

Another Inside Out 2-themed popcorn bucket, nicknamed the “Core Memory” bucket, is going viral on TikTok after a family posted an unboxing video of the unique item:

This bucket is shaped like a colored ball – a nod to Riley's core memories in the film. Inside the green ball is a reusable drinking cup with all of the emotion characters printed on it, as well as a figure of one of the characters that can be glued to the top of the cup.

These super cute popcorn buckets also have a lid so your popcorn stays fresh throughout the movie. In the video, both TikTokers get a different character in their bucket, so there are a total of eight figures to collect, each based on an emotion from the film.

The best part is that these popcorn balls light up, making them a great collectible for fans of all ages. People in the comments went crazy over these mysterious popcorn buckets from Core Memory, with some saying they've “never needed anything so badly in their entire lives.”

For anyone looking to see Inside Out 2, these popcorn buckets are available at AMC theaters while supplies last, and if your local theater is a Regal theater, you can score yourself a Fury-themed popcorn bucket.

“Inside Out 2” is currently making waves in theaters and has so far beaten two of the highest-grossing films of 2024 at the box office.
